As the VChK-OGPU and Rucriminal.info have discovered, a bomb exploded in a residential building on Kadyrov Street in Moscow on February 27. According to preliminary reports, it was planted in the apartment of a Gosznak employee. Authorities decided to cover up the explosion and fabricated a story about a gas cylinder exploding (supposedly during renovations).
As a reminder, a powerful explosion rocked the 16th-floor apartment on Kadyrov Street on the evening of February 27. The blast wave blew out a façade panel, injuring the residents: a man and an underage girl. The building was not connected to gas, but security forces still managed to attribute the incident to a "gas explosion," hinting at renovations. This theory was even voiced in a press release by the Investigative Committee of Russia. However, it quickly became clear that it was a lie. The apartment owner denied any renovations, but a large group of FSB officers arrived on the scene, their numbers growing by the hour. They worked at the scene all night.
According to our information, experts have determined that a powerful explosive device detonated in the apartment. Neighbors on the street also overheard intelligence officials talking about a terrorist attack. It is unknown whether the man kept the bomb at home or whether someone gave it to him, perhaps in a package.
The Cheka-OGPU discovered that a married couple, Olga and Yuri D., lived in the apartment. They have an older son, who lives separately, and a minor daughter. Judging by leaked documents, the couple works at JSC Goznak, and the head of the family obtained a work permit during the COVID-19 pandemic, indicating his place of work as the Moscow Mint.
Olga was not home at the time of the explosion, so only Yuri and their daughter were injured. The man and child were immediately hospitalized. The head of the family has not yet regained consciousness.
